Well its been a long time coming but on the premise that everything is as it should be and there isn't a spanner in the works I pick up brian's pentroof zed tomorrow. Probably the most droll topic created on these boards but I'm excited and thought I'd share :) . the fuel bill driving it from kent back home to sheffield may be a downer on festivities though ha

I remember my first drive in my Zed,

I bought the car in Scotchland then had a 450 mile drive back home, it was a bit of a sweaty palmed affair, but I didn't even think about the cost of the fuel - I was too busy laughing every time I put my foot down!

Enjoy!

22!! I was 22 when I first wanted a Zed, i got mine last year when I was 34!!!!

:) thing is now insurance is both a joke and a rip off and while i'd begrudge paying the £1500 quote i was given for a micra at my age and given the current fiasco in juxtaposition £2000 for a zed is a steal :) .... i imagine a few people on here might not agree with me on that note but i've made my peace with it and come to accept been a young driver and living in rotherham is just s**t :P

Congrats on the zed bud  but take your time and get used to it , there,s alot of power waiting to catch you out , especially on bends :w00t::w00t:Enjoy !!!

Congrats on the new purchase, lovely zed you have bought, take care of her

Fantastic news mate, you'll have to pop over in it! Cant wait to see it :)

Youll be smiling like a Cheshire Cat on the way home.

be wary of so called "zed experts" now living in Rotherham mate .....hes not trading now but might just offer his services or pop up like a bad penny ..........pm me and ill tell you all about it .....

Is this a former members car - or was it advertised on a national website?

I know what the pentroof bodykit looks like, but is this an actual tuners demo car?

I'm excited, pictures please!

When I bought mine I had to drive it back from Hythe - Kent up to Sunderland.

Tank and a half of juice for me so I reckon depending on the whereabouts in Kent it is, you'll probably use a tank depending on how heavy your right foot is lol.

Good luck with the purchase. I've not seen this Z in person, but I knew Brians previous Z very well, and it was a no expense spared well cared for example.

Ah right, that one - thanks Yowser!

Not the body kit I was thinking of, but still a very unique car! 22 years old and buying that kinda motor - I really wish I knew where my life went so wrong.. I had a bike until I was 25 AND I had to pedal on the bloody thing...

Youth of today, eh!

You be careful young man! :wheelchair:

Get some picks up when you pick it up  Sounds like you got a top motor . Just watch out for them pesky camera vans :innocent:
