Trying to get the car ready for Japfest, all the bits I'm doing are going well. The problem is the paint, there is two weeks to go and it's not even at the painters yet!! Do I push him to get in done in 10 days as really wanted it done :confused1:

Or get some Halfords tins and just paint the bumpers to match the bodywork until the proper paint with colour change???

if it was me i would wait and get a pro job done as quick as , otherwise just means more prep more cost for the pro respray

The car is not at the painters yet, but is it stripped ready for painting?

If it is, it could be done, as long as all the body work is done already, but why rush?

No point rushing the rebuild and making an ar5e of something. Take your time, get it right, you'll be happier for it in the end.

better to get the car right than fluff it up because you wanted to go to a show. its only a show mate, you have to live with the car
