there is more than i took pics of just gave up and continued stripping it lol looking at my knew one to keep me going

once it starts it never finishes. you new one looks in great condition :)

 

Exactly! Whilst it looks fixable one has to consider whether it's economically viable to do so; or just cut your losses and buy a new one!

 

And I reckon you did the right thing. Good luck with your new ZX mate.

I actually feel better about mine now! WOW!

 

Mine needs new sills I think, I'm getting the existing ones welded just to get through the summer, then as part of the Winter SORN project I'm getting new ones welded on, the whole car stripped, undersealed, anti-rusted and bare metal re-sprayed.
