Hi Ed, welcome to the forum!

You certainly have made a good decision buying a Z, hope you enjoy it! :thumbup1:

and yes welding isn't too uncommon, especially with the UK models that have been subjected to more road salt and nastier weather than the imports.

Thanks guys will put sme pics up but the car is currently on autotrader, its red and it was up @ 1,795 , 105,000 on the clock, please have a look and tell me what you think??

cheers ed

Welcome to the club. Looks very tidy and a good price too. There is a chance that most UK models will either need or had done the rear sills, because of the dreaded rot, but it looks like its been looked after.

thanks groover, there is an invoice with a lot of work done in the past, like wheel arch repair, weld up lower port tail gate, and repainted a fitted rear spoiler, looks like it all cost 1360 back in the day!!

Both places that are prone :/ the oem spoiler tends to break down over the years and perish, obviously why the boot has had that work done, good that its been done though !! :balloon:

Hi and welcome

Best thing you can do have a nice drive up to Zedworld and get them to give you a full report on it

They will give you a list of anything that needs doing now, anything that will need doing in the near/medium future and tell you what to watch for to add to the list !

Well worth it

Your just 33miles away from me matey, i could pop over and go over it with you. ill also be turning up in my zed as well :D

Welcome matey :) Looks like a tidy zed you've bagged yourself their. Go canny though, It's a little bit quicker than your vectra dti

Welcome to the club Ed - and congratulations on your purchase!!

That looks a tidy bargain you got there. Less than £1800 for a UK spec manual; nice one!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
