high beam questions

im going to be upgrading my main beam bulbs shortly . firstly im looking at up rating the bulbs to about 100 watts with a nice white light to match up with my HIDs . secondly im looking to do the mod that allows the full beam to flash whilst the HIDs stay on so as to avoid the warm up period with the HIDs on swap over . are there likely to be any issues with the wiring overloading with this set up . i know the full beams are only going to be illuminated for at most a couple of minutes at a time and mostly no more than a few seconds . just wondered if anybody else has a similar set up and whether you have put something like an in line fuse or similar to protect the wiring .

if anyone could put up a link or an idiot proof guide to the extra earth thats needed from the relay box it would be much appreciated

cheers

andy
