Went on a test drive in a 2004 one of these yesterday, basically its a n/a 911 but fitted with everything else a turbo has. I never ever expected it to be as quick as it was, relentless power in every gear and would chav my twin turbo all day long :-(. Awesome car though, even has a button to open valves in the exhaust to make it louder lol :-)

i've only ever driven an older 911 turbo and that was enough !! lol

Customer took me for a spin in his 996 TT fitted with the factory power pack upgrade f@@k me that was quick!!!!

I always wanted a 911 but only managed the 924 and 944 lux mind you id have any of them again alongside the Zed!

I murdered a C4S in my old zed, he even followed to ask what it was iwas driving

its a 911 996 3.6 im hoping to get next month, what power upgrades did he have?

I like the 996 carrera 4s, I'd have one. Very comparable to a stock TT in performance - similar power, similar weight.

 

The GT3 is tasty, and appeals to me more than the Turbo.
