dear gents, 300tt auto, under the bonnet passenger side throttle body,there is a adjusting screw and lock nut,which look like you can alter the idle etc..

what is the real purpose of this nut/screw combo ?

    The idle is adjusted with the screw in the air intake valve at the back of the plenum, the screws on the throttle bodies are to balance the two so they open together.
