Working on my bathroom conversion and 2 minutes later a piece of 6 x 4 chipboard leaning up the wall falls over with my back to it ( so did not know it was coming ) and Wham get hit in the back of the leg by said sheet of wood..........OUCH!!!! flipping smarted I can tell you!!

been there done that, agony, invented at least 10 new swear words too! always reminds me of that film 'Pet Cemetary', where that kid cuts that bloke's akillie's heel with a scalpel....!

Ice pack, keep it elevated, yada yada - daft man!! And some Ibuprofen as it'll knack like a beeatch tomorrow!

I had a similar situation last year; was working away on a car and like yourself involved a bit more heavy/dangerous work, all went smooth and not even a scratched knuckle lol; anyway that evening decided to do a bit of home diy [wont bore you with what it was] but it involved a tiny bit of drilling, all was going well until the the drill bit snapped in half, next thing I was looking at the broken half of the drill bit that went through the tip of my finger an it was still attached to the drill!

So at this point I weighed up the situation, the broken bit would not pull free.............So I put the drill in reverse and pulled the trigger..............The rest I'm sure you guys can guess lol. Finger came out ok thankfully, just a tiny bit of loss of feeling, but can live with it in one piece.

Ouch, that does look sore !

They say it happens in threes, so you first, me second and some other poor sod next !

Was changing a sliding side door on a Renault Master yesterday.

Removed the bottom bracket and as I went to get up, the top bracket popped out the runners !! Door and head met !

Four steel staples in me napper to stop what little brains I have spilling out !
