Hey Guys,

Currently not sure if its my zed or not however when i go for a ride, its a very bumpy and uncomfortable ride (feels like thrown around in a cage:sweatdrop:). So maybe it might be my suspension etc as i think i still have the stock suspension.

So wanted to ask you guys out there how would you rate the zed for comfort. So what would you rate ur zedout of 10 so 10 being really comfortable and 1 being horrid.

Would be nice to hear some opinions on people who have been in other sports car such as m3's or similiar low cars to see how the zed compares.

I been in a Lambo lp630 and that was very comfortable but not we cant compare that can we :P

depends on the road surface... for mine i'd give it 2/10 on bumpy sh!tty roads, bounces around all over the place, but on a smooth road its more like 8/10 and handles really well.

You got new suspension or still using the stock ones?

I rate mine pretty highly to be honest......

.....but one must remember that after 15-20 years and 000s of miles, the high performance nature and weight of a 300zx will have taken its toll on the standard suspension. Hence many will be running on knackered shocks/springs.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I'd also suggest that a lot of the suspension, subframe and powertrain mounts and bushings will be a big contributor to a crashy ride.

I would expect that a Zed with standard new everything would be pretty comfortable. I've just replaced pretty much all of the above with much harder uprated stuff and it's really low on hard coilovers but ride wise I rate it about 5/10, not too bad considering I've got solid rear subframe bushes and most of the suspension arms are now spherical bearing types!

Classic symptoms of rear dampers gone. Stock suspension gives perfectly usable ride. Definitely NOT thrown around in a cage - except when the rear dampers need replacing.
