I've been thinking about doing a manual conversion for a while now, can I ask what zedworld charged you for the job?

Did they supply all the parts or just do the work?

ZedWorld supply all the parts and do the work.

how much is a manual coversion then?, what major difference does it offer performance/driving wise?, do you really think it makes such a big difference?

hmm is it mich of a big job?, any cutting or owt to do? ie fitting clutch pedals etc

no mate, the hole for the clutch is already there, just knock out the spot welded blank, just lots of fannying about and getting in rather uncomfortable postions in the footwell :)

im saving atm for a respray but manual coversion is changing my mind if zedworld did it for about £1200, it would be abit more tempting

Great news mate, glad you decided to take the plunge and certainly sounds like you are happy with the end results!!

I've only ever driven manual TTs so don't know what the autos drive like.

ps. I'm in the middle of removing my manual conversion parts from my breaker if anyone was interested in doing it themselves. [/shameless plug] :thumbup1:

i have done the manual myself glad i did too its great, although im now searching for a clutch booster as mine has a leak if anyone has one availlable :-)
