just want to guage opinion here, but i have spoken to a company called 3 g brakes and they have the following prices

20 Groove Front discs 169 pounds including vat

20 groove rear discs 179 pounds including vat

Redstuff brake pads for the front 90 pounds

or they will do the front brakes + redstuff pads for 190 pounds.

the discs are ventilated and grooved and if we get together more than 5 sets he will consider a discount (im not to sure by how much)

i think this is a really good deal, and they fit straight on.

Warren,

I might be up for this aswell as the TC. Is that prices each? Or set?

Something tells me, EACH!

Tim

;-)

lol craig it is per set which is really good.

I'm interested. Is there a web site or any other details about the product, manufacturing or quality?

I have just ordered some porterfield cryo treated x-drilled rotors with kevlar pads from Johnny at a good price. Jez has these and I was very impressed with the performance. The best stopping power i've experieced on stock calipers. Dogs cahoonas come to mind.

Johnny, Group BUY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...and chuck in the traction control too!

Andy

woohoo !!!

I am definately up for this.... My discs just warped last week.. dunno why, but probably cause it's been sitting in drive for 10 months while I've been working in London... prob got a bit enthuisiastic with it when I could ride it again...ahem.

Anyway, sooner the better as far as I'm concerned. Even if it's no discount. What's the company address/details ?

stu

could have sworn I replied to this.

yes please !! I need a set of fronts badly, mine warped last week. asap.

stu

i will chat to them on teusday and get definate details.#

AndersUK - how much is "a good price" ? I'm going to need to save for a trip up country for a full service... and the extra's are adding up fast. Those puppies sound worthy of my beloved Z, so if it's a good deal I'll be on the hunt for a set.

Porterfield quoted me $159 each for the x-drilled crto treated rotors and $99 for kevlar pads (pair). Johnny can get them cheaper than this being a trader and all. I think he was quoted $109 each for the rotors which is an absolute fu*%$ng bargain. I paid £330 !!! for ebc rotors 6 months ago and they are crap. That did not include pads! The Poterfield setup should work out about the same with pads!... even with VAT, carriage, Delboy's commission etc.
