basically, the hicas system cuts in at about 75 and gradually turns the wheels further and further right, and right only causing the car to basically crab up the road, the higher the speed the more the angle.... how do i fix this.

and/or what is the cause? its definately hicas as when i disconnect the hicas connector in the engine bay (disable hiscas) the problem goes away..

mate if its doing that it sounds like the hicas arms or bushes are serioulsy worn , i would not drive it like that to be honest , dissable hicas and keep it dissablesd until you can get it checked out by Jeff or the like

sounds dangerous? i havent come across a thread with this paticular problem? sounds like an electrical fault to me though?

Not sure it would be hicas arms, more to the fact that either the solinoide is not operating correctly and allowing hydrolic fluid to pass to the ram all the time this could be caused by either the reading system at the steering wheel and the ecu that controlls the actuator, or the solinoide actuator it self. This is accounting the fact that you have a hydrolic system.

I know of one member had issues with the hicas unit that sits behind and operated by the steering wheel , IIRC it was faulty and caused the car to weave and crab and scrub rear tyres out very quickly . HTH
