Im planning on a respray in the next few weeks, (providing the car passes an mot without bankrupting me).

 

Its Red, which is growing on me, but ive never liked Red cars.

The plan was to do it IBIS White (Audi R8)

I think White is getting everywhere, and ive seen a zed in a newer white and i dont think it works that well. The colour is too modern for the older lines of the Zed (IMHO).

 

I love them in Black, but i dont want black.

 

So im looking for some help. Pictures would be good.

What different Blues have been done?

I like Imperial Blue, but does it need a bodykit to pull it off?

 

Any other colour?

My fav colour for a zed is black,but there are loads of them.Ive never seen one in a light metallic blue,like subaru ice blue or ford paris blue?

Bayside Blue is nice...

 

I think the zed in that thread is lacking something, dont know what tho.

i am 99% of going white with mine , and i am gona go the other shade of audi white thats abit different to ibis :) i keep on changing my mind thou lol

There's nothing worse than seeing a car with a cracking paint job on the outside then once the bonnet's popped, you see a completely different colour.

keep your options open , dont just look at cars , look at motorbikes too there are some stunning colours on the new honda range this year and yamaha do some cracking deep mica blue colours .....just a thought

i agree, unless the car in question was originally black, dull it down and hyou can get away with it if you paint it a dark color

yhe i dont like the half done look either... i think the zed looks best in dark colours. maybe a lovely midnight blue. oh and while were on the subject ford paris blue IS A HATEFULL UGLY COLOUR! more suited to old ladys pants than a car!

I always liked gunmetal Zs, that being said, Mikey came round yesterday in his dark blue one, and that looked pretty nice in the sun.

Ive woken up thinking im keeping it red.

I dont like red, but i Love seeing pictures of completly standard looking mint zeds.

 

Look at that one in the link a few weeks ago, around £8k i think it was, standard, and looked mint. And that was Red.
