GuyZ,

I'm sure I've heard somewhere that all the stock stereo gear is Bose and can be a nightmare to replace. Is this true? Bob, you da man in this department I suspect.

Its not a bad job at all m8. If you've replaced stereos before then its a doddle - if not then I'm sure somebody will help. Are you keeping the standard speakers????

Like Andy said, it probably won't be too bad. I just had a my stock head unit replaced with one of Kenwood's new ones and that went in no problem.

First find out if you actually have a Bose unit, my car didn't. If you don't, then you won't have seperately amplified speakers and therefore nothing to worry about. Even if you do, the guys where I got my work done reckoned it wouldn't be too much more effort to wire around the amp anyway.

I've got the original japanese audio components booklet and that seems to indicate that the Bose systems actually have the logo visible on the head units.

Yo Timmy,

I changed the stearo out on my car, It was easy, but I had to buy an adapter that converted the output of deck to the stock amps for the bose speakers. that little converter/adapter cost me 50 us dollars, I got at crutchfeild.

Hope that helps
