i just had my advan wheels refurbished and they are like NEW! just thought id recommend these guys to everyone, they are very good value for money considering the finish, they guys there said they can powder coat,paint,machine,weld,polish anything so i thing i might get some brackets and little bits and bobs powdered. would like to have my plenum polished but i dont know if i want to take it off lol.

what was their price on refurbing a set of alloys and did you send them with tyres on as well or just the rims? I take it they cant do 3 piece rims though

Im looking to get my centres powercoated and the dish polished. Was goign to do myself but not had the time.

for a really good service on refurbs including split rims i used the wheeldoctor in manchester arranged pick up and delivery ..was absolutely spot on cant remember the price but wasnt that bad considering the personal service...

hey guys, i sent them wheels and tyres, to have the kerbing sorted,chemical strip,powder primer,powder coat and powder laquer and re-fit tyres and balence it worked out at about £70 a wheel. not got any piccys yet my cams fubard but ill see if i can get some up, the quality really is amazing though, im pretty sure they can do split rims cos they asked if they were when i rang em. started taking off bits and bobs to send them for powder coating today. cant wait to finish my build, hoping to have it done by the summer! :)

Maybe they asked because they can't do them and would want to avoid talking about a refurb if they were split?

i have asked a few companies about doing 3 piece rims and there is only a handful that will touch them. If they said they would do split rims i would presume they are talking about 2 piece not 3 piece. Best quote ive had so far is £480 for 3 piece rims
