Diff oil sign

Hi guys,

 

I am getting a sign up in the dash saying diff oil. What's the reason for this?

    your car has had enough of waiting... it really, really wants some different oil please.

    Check the sensor at the rear of the diff, quite common for the cables to break free and be touching the case which brings the light on, also there can be issues with the light coming on when there are fuseboard problems but that tends to also bring on the lights alert.
