broken det sensor

I think it was my det sensor wiring that i found broken at the plug, its the one with two wires going itnto it, the o2 sensor has 3 i believe at the rear of the plennum, its a grey plug,

 

would this have been the cause of a very slight rough idle when you give the slightest rev maybe 1500 rpm? have repaired it now but have removed my injectors and having some more that will have been sent away for flow testing to replace them so cant try them till then
