I HAVE A SINGLE BLITZ AIR FILTER ON THE 300 AT THE MINUTE AND WAS WONDERING IF IT COULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS TO PUT TWO ON THERE - ONE FOR EACH TURBO. HAS THIS BEEN DONE BEFORE ?

CHEERS GUYS.

If you look on www.blitz-uk.co.uk and go to the air filter section. I'm curious about this one also as when I get my car back I want to fit Blitz induction kit and exhaust.

I did notice a couple of the photos on the site do show dual filter setups. One of them in a red RX-7 TT, but I would be interested to see what the guru's have to say?

Yes it can be done.

Yes it is advantagous but only really after you have upgraded the injectors to complement the increased air flow.

You will need to remap the AF maps on the ECU and consider how you will deal with the air flow from each intake - a Dual MAF system or split the readings from a single.

JWT do a complete upgrade kit with filters and ECU chip.

Several guys here have this setup talk to SteveE or Z Vicking for more info

Hope that helps

twin filter setups depend on a few things....

there is only one air flow sensor, so you either have two filters connected on one pipe, which goes through the sensor (check the silvia website store for a pic) or you go for two physically separate, but then you need a balance tube, and an ecu program to compensate for the extra air flow and single sensor...

YEAH, I WAS WONDERING COS I HAVE A SE MONZA NOSECONE AND THERES JUST BAGS OF ROOM BEHIND IT. MIND YOU , ITS CHIPPED QUITE BADLY NOW, SO I WAS THINKING OF REPLACING IT WITH ONE OF SE NEW MONZA CONES WITH THE REMOVABLE BOTTOM SECTION THAT IVE HEARD ABOUT. IF I DID THIS, WOULD I STILL HAVE ALL THIS AMPLE ROOM ?

What new SE Monza nosecone? I have a fairly recent one on my Z (about 8 months old), and that has no removable bottom???????

...according to Alex at Racelogic, you can't have a twin Blitz setup on the Z. This does surprise me though, coz when you look at the Blitz website it shows a few motors with a twin setup!

Anyway, if it means a load of farting about with the Blitz system, I'd be more inclined to do it the easy way and go for the JWT dual-popper.

I've seen cars with a twin Blitz setup on TT.net. It's basically a JWT twin POP, but with Blitz filters instead of the JWT ones.

mmmmmm...niice

Anyone know how much the dual pop charger kit is?

My filter is totally clogged up and i can't get it clean.
