My eyes are going wonky and i've radiation poisoning and am going green

This is from the dodgy emissions suffered by me from my 21"SVGA - I have been through all posts from today to 3 months back. Lots of VV useful info. Scary stories and happy tales of Z-Ownership and Z-Buyership. I know it's been covered in other posts and i've sent the relevant techie info to my printer, but I godda admit it scares me going out to buy one of these motors.

Hehe I've never been a 'Mondeo Man' but I don't fancy chucking 5 and Half grand at a lemon.

Thanks to Martinfa, TopSquads, Nico, TimmyT, John, Tooley, and Si on the IOW for your comments.

Listen chaps, I'm in Lincs but will be travelling anywhere there is a decent Z to look at. The AA want £240 for an full inspection. I'll gladly pay anyone of the experts on this forum here that sum if they are in the area and can come along at look at the Z.

Sorry the post is a little bit garbled, but all the talk of plenums, hicas', dodgy coil packs, dodgy tupacs' and dodgy jap imports has span me out.

Kindest Regards,

Glen.

Glen,

Don't get 'phased' by the posts on the forum! Problems aren't as common as it may seem. The thing is that problems get put on the forum more than good experiences!!!

If you need a hand anywhere in the Northwest give me a shout.

Andy

Good idea.

I'd help you out myself but I'm not yet an expert!

I bought my Z and really took a risk.

I didn't know anything about the Z when I bought mine and it turns out to be a Stage III machine with nothing more than a few minor problems that I can easily fix.

Could easily have been a nightmare though.

Where in Lincs are you?

Thanks chaps for the offers:)

BTW SimonH, just trying to work out where those pix of that [great lookin'] Z are shot?

Is that the Newport to Arreton road??

Glen.

they are wonderfull cars make no mistake but they are also expensive to run, so just a warning if you dont have cash to spend on it be carefull, i have just found out about the expense of running one in a big way lol\

(yet ill never sell it)

Hi Glen,

What a superb guess!!. The pictures were taken outside my factory on the main Newport to Arreton road in Merstone. Don't be too put off by all the scary posts on the forum.

Most are problem solving questions with owners sharing their experiences of these vehicles. Maybe there should be more posts from people on how much fun it is to own a Zed. I would agree that taking someone in the "Know" with you is a must when viewing a potential car. Take your time and look around, I am sure you will find what you are looking for. I wish you all the best on finding your perfect Zed!.

Good luck M8

Peace.

Glen.
