Taking the Headlights apart for a damn good clean and fit the H.I.D's at long last!

Amazingly only had 1 bolt snap............

 

Lights stripped and Tamiya gears on...........

 

After a good wash in the sink the Glasses and rubbers are ready to re-fit,also painted the inserts.

 

All done ready for Tomorrow!

nice job dazzler... how long did it take you? my HIDs are a PITA to fit so considering pulling them out and getting them cleaned up and the HIDs fitted at once.

Baz, took the afternoon including removal of the bumper and scraping all that old Grey shite off the glass and H/lights!:surrender:

looks good, glad you changed to the metal gears too.

very handy mod, and not that hard to do.

Soooo........Today I mounted the H.I.D's with an extra earth like so...

 

Put the lights back in.Was going to paint the gash grey strip between the fogs,ended up spraying the whole bumper whilst it was off!,

 

Happy with the result,lights look 10x better and the mains stay on with the dip,mains bulbs changed for 100w blue efforts!-I reckon it needs crystal lights to finish off-Anyone got any?:chinese:
