Safety Boost - I'm strugglin' here!!....

I'm short on ideas.

Ran the code....got a 55. Did it on 2 different ECUs. My car sits at 6 psi. I've ran pressure test. Nothing HISSING. Even tried to run my hand over the pipes to Feel the air...nothing.

The only thing I could think of, is that I installed SSQV on the intercooler intake pipes.....and never blocked of the stock BOVs. But would that really be the issue?

are the actuators actually plugged in? has it ever had a boost controller in before?

Actuators? Like waste gate? Wait...I'm confused. What is used next to the filter? Are those not BOVs? Either way....those should be fine. Boost controller? Not sure prior to.....currently I have an Ash spec ECU with intergrated boost control knob. But my troubles were before this ECU. All I did with the SSQVs is throw them on inline.

when removing the stock BOV you need to block one of the holes off as on my HKS SSQV i had a blanking plug for one of the holes as the stock BOV use inlet and outlet and the SSQV outlet to atmosphere

Recirculation valves by the filter. My bad. I thought I read somewhere I should block off those valves.

Wait....do you think the valves are opening early? Or open all the time?

i dont know what you have done have you removed the recirc valves? If fitting SSQV you need to remove them or they will just keep doing their job

No. Never removed them. :( Looks like in need some intake hoses to test out if that's the problem.

where on earth have you fitted the SSQV then? you need the recircs out, cap off one hole and fit the SSQV to the other hole then it will work im pretty sure. Thats what it sounds like anyway

Lol....like i said, they're on the intercooler pipes going to the throttle bodies. I'll play with the recirc valves and post my results.

you have the same problem i have i have my bovs up top and still have the recircs in im sure we need to remove the recircs and block off the hoses since or boves are on the intake pipes. i removed my bovs and the car was alot better. gonna have a go at removing the recircs and fitting the bovs again over the next week or so
