Hi all,
Done a thread search on getting my turbos reconditioned but it seems most of the threads concentrate on the rebuild kits and who can balance them after. I'm not really interested in undertaking the task myself, but if the engine is coming out for a rebuild then it seems sensible to get the tubs reconditioned at the same time. Hopefully then, it should be like a new engine and not have to come out again.
Is there a reputable club member or affiliate who recons turbos? Anyone know roughly how much this service costs? Or is it best to keep an eye on ebay and hope for a bargain on a new pair?
