I have just bought my girlfriend her first car. S reg nissan micra.

You would be suprised how many bits of a micra we can salvage for our zeds, one in particular i have seen many threads on people needing are.

 

1. Number plate bulb holders and covers are identical, but different part numbers, Nissan charge a few quid for zed ones, and are getting rarer to find.

 

2. The interior light door switch rubber covers, situated near the door locks, are identical.

 

3. The door lock catches, again identical.

 

3. In the engine bay of a micra, there are a few electrical connections, both the male and female side are same as zed connections.,

 

If you are finding that you need the odd connector, catch or bulb holder. dont buy new ones, get yourself to a local scrappies, find a micra of anything upto a W reg, and fill your boots

I have both a Z and a W reg Micra, does this mean they are brother and sister???

Did we have a thread somewhere about parts that were compatible/identical to 300ZX's?

 

I think a cross reference chart would be handy for this sort of thing.

I have 2 primera's and a Micra sitting gathering rust and I never though to have a look to see if anything off them is the same as the Zed. Brain slap moment.!
