Is there any performance difference between the Uk TT and the jap import TT?

same model mate lwb TT, the guy also has swaped the auto box to a manual so well chuffed.

seats are the same but the belts are on the doors in the jap models so the little fellas can reach them

didnt some imports have restrictor plates in the exhaust if still standard?

Yes they did easy to remove though :)

Until late 92. ie. Series 1 only.

Seems its not just a Jap thing - Had several UK owners say their original exhausts had the exact same restrictors in too, in response to threads about it on here before.
