Water pump

Hi,

 

Is it a big job to swap the water pump, I take its ran off the cam belt?

    Change the cambelt when your in there as a leaking pump will have been pouring scalding water over the belt.

    And make sure you only buy a genuine Nissan item, not a pattern version!

     

    JeffTT posted a thread soe time back comparing an aftermarket one with the OEM one - the impeller on the OEM one was much bigger. It's essential for efficient cooling on these engines!!
