Transmission advice..

Hi,

I bought my first zx about 8 months ago and its time for a bit of an overhaul. I have read around the forums and im sure my propshaft centre bearing and rear gearbox mount need doing, plus my gearbox is noisey and not great getting into second. The zed is a 96 NA import manual, ive been looking around for the best price for gearbox mount, prop bearing and redline mt 90 tranny oil, any advice where i can get these for the best prices? also.. is it worth changing the gearbox oil filter? and what engine oil would you recommend? I just noticed a new centre bearing sold for £50 on here a few weeks ago!! cheapest ive seen is £150

no filter on the gearbox just magnetic sump plug

i have a spare center bearing in good condition, just needs to come off the prop shaft, but need a press for that apparently. there was no vibration from it when it was on the car. just letting you know one is available.

engine oil is a good brand semi synthetic 10/40

If you change the tranny oil, check for metal shards (handy with a old speaker magnet dragged through the old oil and check it that way, as metal bits in the oil could be a sign of impending doom.
