Ok so my old zed again!! I've been helping the chap to get it up & running as it stalls when put in gear! (auto) so we checked the cam belt & found this was a tooth or 2 out so redone it & set timing to 25deg with engine fully warmed up & in N it idles lovely now & no smoke like there was before we redone cam belt & timing ,! So that's all good .. Also base idle set to around 700 then when yellow plug is refitted the revs come up to 900 which I'm told is about right?

Now can put in gear but as soon as u touch the throttle it stalls! Even when in neutral and give it a blip it goes to die ! Any ideas?

No boost leaks checked!

Idle control checked!

Timing checked!

have you tried changing the TPS, just a thought is might be giving the correct reading at idle position but shorting or failing as soon as throttle moved.

15 btc!! :innocent: where abouts are you working on it?
