Alternator loom

Hi everyone,

 

Im a bit stuck ive noticed that the loom has 2 earth straps do both of them connect to the alternator or does 1 go to the chassis or something?

    iirc, they both go to the alt, 2 small wires with O rings for them to go on the thread then you stick a 10mm nut on it.
