One of my Previous Z's :

2+2 TT Manual

Induction kit

Downpipes, decat and Catback exhaust

JD ECU

265/35/17 Falken-452 tyres

On stock boost it recorded a 5.5 secs 0-60 and 14.1 secs 0-100.

On 14psi boost with the same mods it did a 4.7 secs 0-60 and 11.9 secs 0-100.

Recorded using Nissan Datascan Diagnostics.

well, my turbo timer says i get from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds with 1.2bar of boost, stock tubs, stock internals, stock inter coolers, HKS air filer, GGredy ECU, boost jets, straight through decat power flo / divorced waist gates, mongoose back boxes, short shifter, not sure on clutch or flywheel.

I have not got a clue on BHP but shouldn't be far off what your is with the mods im running.

*NOTE* i wouldn't think that the turbo timer is very accurate lol

On my little project I am planing to push 440bhp so If I am correct 0-60mph will do on average 4.0-4.2sec. But I got smaller turbo pe1420 so that works on lower revs so even can be less then 4sec.

Please correct me what thinking.

i got 220hp and i never reach 60mph:thumbdown:

but i am driving a daf 18ton lorry after all:tt2::tt2:

Your limited by Traction, not power. The times I posted were after many attempts at keeping maximum acceleration without wheelspin.

On the drag strip, with warmed up Slicks in a stripped car, with plenty of practice, then potentially yes.

ive been wanting to test this myself, but u try talking some1 into sitting in the back seat with a stopwatch watching the speedo!

When I 1st got my car after a good service and boost increase, I did 0-60 in 5.5secs and 0-100 in 11secs??

It was an auto then haven't tried as a manual, but to be fair the auto is far more consistant off the line.

Knowing I was binning the auto, hold the brake engage 'D' floor the throttle, let go of brake!! These times were achieved on 3 attempts.

I still reckon 0-100 is potentially faster in the auto! Told my pals of the times - didn't believe me.:(

that 0-100 time does not sound right at all

I got 4.9 0 - 60 on my green one with 1 bar std tubs, K & N at the front and mongoose on the rear not decatted

Yup - I'd have to agree with that as well......

.....and I assume that there comes a point where there will be very little improvement in the 0-60 time anyway; but the increased power and torque may improve on the mid-range acceleration. So in theory 100 would be reached quicker.....

Please correct me if I'm wrong......:whistling:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Im gonna see what the slickie can do 0-100km as the apexi meter will tell me this :)

Yep, I'd normally agree, but thats what I achieved across 3 runs. My slowest was 11.9

I personally think its down to holding the autobox at a stall full throttle and releasing the brake.

I remember thinking that the initial off the line acceleration didn't feel that quick and thought no way going to hit 60 under 6, but the autobox seems very strong in 2nd, braking 100 in 3rd the gear changes far quicker than I could do, very impressive through the box!

Dont regret the manual conversion, but do feel the 0-100 is a strong point of the auto car.

I feel that as a manual, with a shorter 1st and 2nd the 0-60 will be faster, but then using 3rd and 4th taking into account my changes hitting 100 will be slightly slower.

My car isn't // wasn't standard. It has/had a Katitmo? S/S exhaust, Apexi induction, chipped and boosting around 16psi - since reduced as didn't realise this was too high for safe running. It had also just had a major cambelt etc etc service at Zedworld and running very well.

Yep, I agree with that theory.

had 3 runs in the slickie today and best one was 7.75 sec 0-100km on moist track. what is the ideal launch rpm?

bad times there Marty, should be able to get at least mid 6's with that motor. :-)

i launch mine at about 2.5k, but it still wheelspins. :-( any more than that and its like doing a rolling burnout hahahaha. im crap at launching.

ill get it down to 6 just need more practice was on cold tyres and moist road :) wait to the road heats up a bit

Remember its only a NA

at the moment that is

when its TT give me a shout bud, seeing as your right on our door step me you Alan Tony and King should have some mini meets.

ours are the best though (SWB rocks) :op

If only it was that simple, but impressive stats. Its a Z ? Good weight reduction and power figure, any more details on it ?
