Changed the oil in the black zed a few days ago and used a k and n filter for the first time anybody else used the k and n hope its a good filter. The last time I changed the oil in the black zed was in June 2010 but have only done about 2k in that time but even so the old oil was black. There is an anti drain filter on the k and n which is why I went for it plus with the big 25mm nut on the top this makes it easy to put on and get off. Some pics of the oil change:biggrin:

I used them, but apparently they dont seal as well as oem. My last one developed a leak. But i did use 00w 40 fully synthetic.

i have used the K&N oil filter with no worries

please don't tell me your doing up that filter with a spanner, your only supposed to dip the end in oil and then hand tighten it

that end is for easy off lol, but they do devolop a small leak.

i have never had any problems! topped up with oil with some oil smeared over the seal and not over tightened works a treat no leaks! wonder if any leaks could be from a sandwich plate if used?
