So here's my dilemma, I have 2 1999, Version S 300ZX's. To look at they are pretty much identical, same color, the red front seats, both auto, but one is Twin Turbo the other Non Turbo. Non turbo has genuine 18,000miles, TT has genuine 37,000 miles and obviously both cars are in stunning condition. The Twin Turbo has the factory fitted xenons too which are beautiful and both have the factory fitted white dials, although I noticed the TT has the boost gauge again! I thought they were done away with from 95 on, but obviously must have came back for the last year TT's.

Anyway I cant keep both and simply have no room, so which would you keep? The very low mileage car and is a later month in 1999 than the Twin Turbo, or the Twin Turbo car?

twin tubby for me, you would miss the boost, but if you look at older cars the NA's always bring in a lower price so i reckon this will be the same for newer models

What I'd do in your position is keep the TT and give the N/A to me. Although I'd much prefer the TT, I'm sure I could live with a 99 spec N/A

Yeah I understand what your saying but to be honest, I drive pretty slow, infact very rarely over 60mph and the Z I do keep will only see around 600/700 miles a year probably. So the whole performance thing I dont think would bother me too much, but those xenons look super lol

I've very briefly drove both and maybe its just me but, the non turbo seems a nicer drive, I think the steering is lighter too?? Is that anything to do with the HICAS? Does N/A cars not have this? Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question, its the first n/a I've owned and never really read up much on them.

if i dont like the M3 i may sell and put the cash towards a zed and a cheap runaround, i would deffo want the newest tt i could find

and those lights do look great as you said

the na is a nice drive and if your not going to use the potential of the tt then sell it. you could always buy hids and the xenon inserts for the na if thats the only reason to keep it!

Yip! Tend to agree, already thought about those xenon lamps for the N/A, but I'd want the OEM ones and I believe they are not the most sensibly priced item lol. And before anyone says it, I would never swap the lamps over lol, I like to leave those types of things the way they came from the factory.

Hmm, I have no zed, surely i should get his spare?!! Lol

And I'm not picky....

Maybe karma is telling me to keep the TT as I recently bought the OEM UK Wheels with the wider rears! lol

I have not driven an NA 300zx as yet, but there are a few people on here that have driven both and you are not the 1st to say the NA is a nicer drive.

Some say the power delivery is much nicer and the engine sounds much nicer as well - I can believe both.

If you prefer the NA then keep it, but remember it seems true that a TT generally fetches more money so know what you've got an what its worth.

Don't let either go for peanuts!
