Just ordered new 02's from Zcentre, as im gonna go through the process of elimination.

 

Now has anyone had theres changed and noticed an improvement in fuel range/ economy? if so how much?

 

and secondly is this a DIY or specialist job to replace them?

I changed mine on my V6 Probe, the problem was more about getting to the sensor and getting a spanner on, changing of the sensor is the easy bit. Universal ones need to be wired in, you have a positive, negative and sometimes a heater wire which warms the plug beofre the engine and exhaust warms it.

 

Though I do remember needing a 22mm ring spanner that I had to cut in half as there wasnt room to get the whole length in.

 

The sensors (or at least one of them) on the Zed look a lot easier to get at, so hopefully pie on the Zed... :)

Mine were on the verge of being impossible to get out. I broke 2 crows feet spanner to get them out and there a pig to get to.

 

as for mpg i noticed no differance. good luck :lol:

anyone else done theirs and noticed any difference, in fuel usage/ tank range.

I run mine with the O2 sensors disconnected, so it runs on a means setting. I dont notice any difference in fuel usage, it always drinks it lol.
