T03/T04 Garrett turbos

I belive these are the turbos from the Cosworth Sierras/RS200s. I've read that these can produce approx 500Bhp+ on a twin turbo setup. So how come no one uses them? We hear alot about HKS GT25??, Greddy TD0?, JWT and others, but if these can be got from a cossie and built to spec by Turbotechnics or the like how come they are not widely used in the jap performance market? Are they quite large an therefore difficult to fit?

here's some good info:

"DO not take a T04 turbine anything and try to drive a compressor on a 1500 CC 3 cylinder engine (this is because of the twinturbo setup). It would not likely make any boost until 3500 rpm.

If that turbine were fit with the minimite T25 compressor, it may not even make any boost at all."
