Hot or cold sometimes the car stumbles at around 200 rpm when I start it then dies. Touching the pedal has no effect. Can take 4 or 5 attempts before it will rev properly to pull away. I have cleamed the 2 coolant sensors on the front of the engine and the TPS but no joy.

The coolant sensor must be ok because when I pull the plug off the engine speeds up and the electric fan kicks in.

I had this on my 205 once, and it turned out to be a dodgy air flow meter - might be worth checking the connection on the MAF.

Have you done an ECU diagnostic and checked the codes?

Check the voltages at the Fuel Pump Controller. Behind the LHS rear trim in the back by the rear seat.

I had similar problems, when mine started to refuse to start.

Good luck
