repairing wings

i have welded and made a plate on the bottom of both wings were it bolts on the sills due to them been rotten. i could us them to save my money but i want the car right. i just hope they r going to look ok. has anyone on here had the same problem or did u just get new wings?

    a bit of rot on the very bottom of the wings is quite common, mostly it's just surface rust and can be cleaned and repainted.

     

    put some pics up of the work you've done mate and we will judge 'em! lol
