Hi again,

Wanted to find out - i got imported Zx from Japan (1994). It's stock, nothing's modified, etc.

What would you change in order to get it more responsive etc? I only mean engine-performance wise.

Maybe you could list few things to change immediately.. :)

Air filter

intercooler(s)

More boost.

Chip/remap

Should be over 370bhp then..

It is a turbo isn't it?

As mentioned;

Fit a catback exhaust, replace air filter with cone induction, install boost jets (cheap, may cause boost spikes) or electronic boost controller (much better option), and an ECU remap (chip). Do all this and you will see a massive increase over stock.

The above is assuming it's a turbo you've got. An NA will benefit from most of the above, excluding the boost jets/ebc, however the gains wont be as much.

Thank's - actually i will do full engine refurb from next week (just to make sure everything is in order).

What is safty mode?? :blush:

safety mode is exactly that its the cars way of protecting its self if you like, if it reads certain faults it will enter safety mode or (limp home mode) to save further damage

your Jdm will also be restricted unless its been removed

Just to add to the above, in safety mode the car won't boost above 7psi, where as a healthy stock zed will boost to 9psi.
