So my and my other friends decided go to Wales, just do a cars trip, to feel freedom, just you and a car and empty Wales roads. I think wales is a perfect place to do thing likes this , to enjoy driving car on roads like in Wales.

So I just was wondering may be someone will give me some advice where to go and in what camping the best to stay. We all from London so is long way to go, we hope so it's will be fun. We want to go to wales to see nice places, to stay over night in camping and continue trip back to London.

So please People who is from Wales Give me some information.:flowers:

ime not from Wales but on the border..what i will advise you on is the country is amazing but the traffic cops, car and speed gun based have a very strict zero tollerance with regards to speeding so be warned mate but other from that some amazing roads best appreciated about 6.30 sunday mornings:D

There are a few places i could think of around North Wales plus if your in an area close to me i dont mind a little meet up :)

I can personally recommend the Pass of Llanberis in Snowdon or anywhere in mid wales. Loads of places to camp too.

Also you may want to think about going to west Wales around Pembrokeshire. As soon as the M4 ends the roads start getting better and better and twistier and twistier. St Davids in West Wales is my favourite and most camp sites charge about £2.50 per night per pitch or £6 a night for a pitch with electric hook up.

saw a scooby floating through there last time i was there and thought danm i must come back here and do that myself

A lot of car magazines use mid and north wales for road tests,

I understand the roads around Betswy-Coed are very good.

I'm working in Brecon at the moment, a few good roads round here and glorious views!

Would leave the camping til the summer though

I wont argue with that!!

Na the betws coed is always busy and the road are far to narrow and twisty for a zed. Did it last weekend and i was always on the brakes, best road around here for a good mixture of mountains, 2mile straights along sea front with mountains to your left. then proper bends and almost hairpins it the Caernarfon to ewchmynedd (spelling) nr aberdaron

Will take a good hour one way

i live on the border too, 10 miles and im in mid wales.

i drive down to pembrokshire a few times a year, the drive is always a treat

I like the sound of that for a meet in summer! Bound to be a pub near the beginning of the stretch for us to organise a meeting then one at the other end to park up for a bite to eat and some zed chat. We'll have to see if people would be up for it when the weather warms up a bit.

gonna be doing a welsh roadtrip myself at the start of april - if you can get up to snowdonia way the fabled EVO triangle is here... used a lot for car tests and the like:

im in!

If you want a decent drive then the A483 from Newtown to Llanfair-Ym-Mualt and then the B483 to Brecon is lovely on a sunny day (take the camera)...Bit wet and windy this time of year though!

I'd definitely be up for that
