Targa and door rubber question

Guys

My car never leaked before it went to the bodyshop for a respray, now the water leaks straight down onto the seat both sides and runs down the pillars and comes out of my pillar clocks. its not from the holes in the top under the targa as they drain out underneath the car.

It seems that since the bodyshop put them back they are not working properly. Had a chat with MJP and he said that certain parts need to be stuck down can anyone give me any pointers on how to fix this. I would like to take the car to zedworld on saturday but cant in case it rains at the moment as it literally pours in and I dont want to damage my pillar gauges etc.

I am on the site search at the moment, should there be a rubber on the front edge of where the targa slots in?. I think they might have removed them if they were there painted the targas and put it back together? Sorry but the car was in bits so long I just have no idea if I am missing anything.

I think you can put them in very hot water to clean them and bring them back to life.

Or was that something else...

thats right but youll still need some rubber sealant.done this my self.kinda made it worse but aftersome sealant its ok for now

when you take the seals off youll see where they were sealed before..then just add more to where ever you think needs it..just be carefull coz it can make quite a mess if your not carefull

Yes i thought that i am going to be there just not with the zed, for such a well designed car these bits really do suck.

Why not take her to the bash mate, I'm guessing here but there may be a few people there that can help? lol

Thing is the forcast is rain and the water pours in and runs into the pillar clocks and I dont want them to short out. Also when the interior gets damp everything mists up making it a PITA to drive. Only just got it on the road i dont want to be damaging anything for the sake of getting it fixed properly.

It is a shame but that is life!

lol mine leak, for a temp fix i use vasoline, like Jmwuk said hot water brings their shape out a little better, i also squeezed a lot of grim out of my drivers one also.

On my Zed, the seal goes alone the targa, and along the door pillar, and when the door closes the window is pressed agains the seal...Which is obviously fool proof..?!
