I've discovered that one of my injectors is knackered, the one at the front on the passenger side. I was considering swapping it using the dremmel method. It looks like quite a lot of material would have to be removed from the plenum. I wondered if many others had done it this way as i'm scared of scrapping the plenum. I was just after some reassurance really!

dead easy mate...did it myself a few months ago and was a bit scared about the plenium, but you really don´t need to take that much off. Be sure to spray around the injector with some WD40 and let it soak in over night. I would also recommend using an impact screw driver to loosen the screws on the injector. But seriously, bon´t worry about the dremel job it was way easier than I had anticipated.

:o)

Agree matey, very easy job. Just dremel away a bit at a time until u can get the screwdriver in. Replace the phillips bits with allen key bolts, nice and easy to remove in the future.

Cheers for the advice, I'll give it a go as soon as I've got an injector. I'd better keep some chemical metal on standby!!
