I have a 99 version S, it doesnt have the rear spoiler and my question to you guys is, would you add the 99 spec rear spoiler or would you leave it as it came from the factory?

Hi Sudesh its been a while sence you were last on mate,I put up a thread looking for oem radio and cd also as they are getting hard to find but they are out there.Did you get sorted with a transpoter (RMS Site) If you are ever around Belfast in that nice zed give me a shout.

What a fantastic looking car! I like them with and without but i think in your case the 99 spec spoiler would just finish it off nicely :)

Hi Gary! Yeah its been a while since I posted on here, I do be on looking through bits as I've never grown off the Z's. Then last week I bought 2, a 1995 facelifted series 3 [i think] Twin Turbo with 20,000miles and this 1999 Version S with 18,000 miles, both genuine miles and I have the riginal JDM de-reg certificate showing last previous miles before export. Without doubt the cleanest 300's I have even seen. The Version S came with the original hand books and service book too, and in both cars the shrink rap is still visible in places and they feel and smell like they came out of the showroom, both came with the targa blinds and storage cases, tools and spare wheels and rear tonneau/load cover plus the heavy pile JDM over mats.

The UK radio is hard to find, I bought a few over the years for Z's I owned as I always preffered how the original radio's looked in the car and I'm not into big mad sound or anthing like that. At one time I purchased a brand new setup from Nissan and that was very expensive! I would even take a JDM setup for my own car to keep it original as such. In saying that I think the next best look is a double din TV/Nav setup that looks factory fitted.

Got a transporter sorted ok, just went to CPHIRE. I do be in Belfast quite a bit, never in the cars unless weather is nice and dry lol

That zed looks as new and love the seats, very rare to get a late model and not even the rear windows tainted as all JDM seam to have. Offer still stands to call in with or without your zed you can see my two babies SWB and LWB pm me anytime and I will give you my number and nice stereo Sandy it must be a JDM set up.

Thanks Gary! I'm very pleased with it, I did intend to sellit at some point but after it arrived I just fell inlove with it and as you said, cant be many around? Does anyone know if there are and how many Version S's there are in the UK? I also like that the rear windows arnt tinted and there is no aftermarket addon's or silly things stuck to the dash etc. The callipers on both cars still have the original factory paint/color and under the arches and around the suspension ust looks like new, the wheels have the factory dot on each of them also.

Looks superb and again love the seats was that standard or an option?

As far as I'm aware thats standard on the Version S! I have the original brochure for the last model 300ZX's and it shows the seats as standard for the 2by2 as they call it, and 2 seater Version S

Yep, I agree with that. But........

Do you have the supplement to the main brochure? In there it shows the Options section........ NO 99 Spec rear spoiler is shown as available separately!

Does'nt need to be listed in the brochure. Everything is available for extra. Do you really think they tell a customer No when they come to buy a new one.

I never said it wasn't available, I said it wasn't in the brochure. And actually they very well could say NO, if it meant possibly talking the customer up to a higher spec car! I think that's called SELLING ;)

Its what you were implying. Anyway, have you seen the receipts on new cars - quite a lot of my company cars have had options added that bring them up over the cost of higher models.

woah this is one of how many 99s in the country? i swear there was only 1 other somebody mentioned a few weeks back.

Yes I can think of one that was on here a few months ago and thats it, unless anybody knows of anymore. I also remember Dan at DTA had one for sale which is now sold and one on Pistonheads which I think is sold.
