Is it possible to split the door trims into pieces? i.e can you remove the centre panel that is covered in tweed or alcantara from the plastic top and bottom sections?

Featured Replies

You can strip the material, but not the sections of the door, it is one card moulded.

You can seperate the rear panels next to the seats.

If it is fibreboard and i did separate it how easy do you think it would be to put it back together? Or would this be impossible?

I hope you wrapped it in a very big box LOL

sorry to spam your thread

Now I want to know what your talking about??

When i removed my Tweed from my door card it is like a fibreboard, but with a plastic cover over it, like the plastic which is upper and lower of the actual material as you look at it, you can only see the fibreboard once you remove the doorcard and turn it over, but if your talking about separating the panels so you get 3 panels, i wouldnt like to have a go at putting them back together as the fibreboard looks like it would just flake away.

Hollings.

Spot on what Hollings said it would just break away trust me it won't work :crying:

Back to the drawing board I'm afraid
