When I bought my zed the clutch was slipping under acceleration...ok when just taking it easy. I ran it for a short time and then parked it up until I could get the clutch done (thought maybe need replacing). That was a good few months ago its been parked up and now when recently I went to move it pressed in the pedal and it went straight to the floor. Anybody any ideas to what has caused this also how to know now if it really DOES need a new clutch. Thanks in advance.

If there is no clutch pedal... have you bought an auto...!? hehe

joking aside.

If there is no feel in the pedal then its probably related to the original slipping clutch. Im sure someone wil be along with a more informed answer!

No feel/pressure in the pedal usually means the hydraulics have gone.... on an extended holiday .

i knew someone would say that.

I had the same problem. The seals had gone on my master clutch cylinder and it was leaking inside the car, in the drivers foot-well.

No fluid will cause the pedal to flop, might not be the master, could be leaking at the slave cylinder, or somewhere along the pipe.

NA's just connect to the pedal, Turbo's have a bunch of other stuff and a booster that joins at the pedal.

For the NA a new one is £80. You can't seem to get replacement seal kits any longer.

It's a fiddly job getting the cylinder out, if you can disconnect the pipe then it will be a a lot easier, but no such luck for me.
