get one organised and see if anyone wantd to come, there is over 50 people atteneding the zedworld bash so im sure the club spirit is still there, jae is always a sell out and i think there were quite a few pics last summer from various meets

been winter a lot of people dont want to venture out so its understandable that there isnt much activity

very much up for meets if there not a million miles away. ie less than an hour because of financial commitments and her who must be obeyed. i know there was a post for meet before xmas, but it fell through. which wasmore your way. think murt was sorting it out.

I think the economic climate has kicked in especially the fuel aspect, that combined with higher insurance, higher car tax has meant most people tend to only use the car for the summer months anyway. That said, meet activity has been declining over the past couple of years ? As Jimmer said, there used to be loads of meets a couple of years ago but not any more. It has got to be down to running costs going to meets or total lack of interest. I sold my car mainly because that activity finished. I sympathise with REO's because when I was one, no one could be bothered to respond let alone turn up. I even suggested a monthly pub meet just to keep in touch, the same as other club marques usually do, but that fell on its arse too.Perhaps the percentage of non owner club members is now too high, hence the lack of interest in meets.

Hammer on the nail my friend.

Only reason i'm not putting up any at the moment is because i know no one would turn up to them, i normally wait until the weather gets better, like around the march time before starting up :), but if people are willing i will get back on it and put one up for Feb :)

Regardless of that years ago the meets were well attended and videos of huge convoys of zeds were posted, not seen those in years now and its a real shame.Even in summer no real local meets take place that were a patch on ones say 3 years ago.If the recession is an excuse then in my opinion thats ridiculous? who would own a 3 litre car then avoid meets because of fuel costs,if fuel costs were a problem on any vehicle i owned id sell it simple as.Its usually work that stops me but even so most meets dont summount to much anyway and that kinda puts me off.

This has inspired me! As a new member, and only attended 1 3 car meet, i feel we need to try and kick start it again!

TO THE MIDLANDS SECTION!!!

lol, im up for a midlands meet again, been waiting for the weather to improve! - i reckon same place as before, (meriden) as its easy to get to.
