So Brake fluids!!!!!!

Hi all, I'm giving my brakes a full overhaul shortly, Braided hoses bigger disc's etc, you get the pic.

 

When it comes to the brake fluid whats best?

Dot 4

Super dot 4

Dot 5.1 silicon based but fine for ABS

or any other options and opinions?

    Dot 4 is absolutely fine for road cars and provides the best value for money concidering dot5.1 does not readily mix with other fluids and hence you need to clean the entire braking syustem out, which I would guess yiu would not be able to 100% do that without removing all of the calipers,abs unit and master cylinder.

     

    Not have any dealing with super dot 4 so cannot comment on that.

     

    Dot 4 will be just fine.
