Anyone know the engine oil capacity, I have never had a definitive answer to this one, can anyone help - I want to get it bang on!

Glen in my owners manual it states 3.4 litre with oil filter 3.0 litre without oil filter.

Dont you mean 4 or is that the UK ones, cos when I do an oil change I need to buy a 1 litre topup

Not a definative answer but more than 4 litres and less than 5 litres.

 

I normally have to buy an additional 1 litre bottle of Mobil 1 to top up.

No I don't mean 4 I mean 3!that's what the OWNERS MANUAL SAYS.

4 litres with UK oil cooler and filter ,But Glen has an import(no oil cooler).

All cars have an engine oil cooler, however the european one is larger.

 

Only euro cars have a diff cooler however.

 

Oh and I dunno about the printed amounts, but I doubt the oil coolers would make a difference to how much oil you have to put in on a change..

 

FWIW, my Jap spec car took more than the manual states..

I change the oil very frequently and it always seems to like a whole 4 litre cannister of Redline and a little bit more, just wish I could work out what the little bit more was as i find the dipstick shite for gauging the amount after a change.

I Have a JAP IMPORT and with the filter change the car takes 3.8litres.
