Does anybody with a turbo time have this problem:

Basically dads 300zx has a hks turbo timer fitted to it. What i would like to know is....is it normal for the car to unlock its doors after the engine switches off? (using its turbo timer)

Could it be an alarm problem or turbo timer problem?

Car had a Toad alarm fitted.

Whole point is to leave the turbos to cool down and locking the car enabling you to leave and not having to wait lol

My toad alarm does this and its to do with the anti hijack feature on the alarm. Baiscally yours doors will automatically lock after about 10 secs once engine is started and doors unlock when the ignition is turned off. You would need to have feature removed from the alarm. There is most likely another way to do it using a relay or wiring it up differently, but as mine is an N/A i havent had to do anything lol

Mine does this too,

Which completely defeats the object - agreed!

At least you've realised before leaving your car parked in the middle of town or something.

Let us know if you figure out a fix..

Cheers
