First off, Hi to you all (this being my first thread!)

There seems to be a lot of Knowledge :helpsmilie: and bad jokes  on this forum and long may it continue. I was just curious - does anyone have a Toad key fob with the 4 buttons? Mine has v.faded print on the bottom 2 (open/close)and pressing one of the smaller top ones allows ignition after delay I have found. Yet I suspect there's more to learn...any thoughts?

i have a toad alarm fob...but with only the 2 larger buttons activated. with the larger buttons facing away from you front left is lock and front right is unlock. Obviously there maybe an immobiliser timer so you have around 15 seconds after unlocking the car to start it otherwise you have to press the unlock button again to disable the immobiliser for a further 15 seconds.

Hope this is helps..

On mine I remember a silence button; if pushed before unlock the alarm

wouldn't beep. Also a remote start feature; although this would void most

insurance policies.

- I left the boot ajar and got extra beeps anf flashes on the open/closeing, thats why I'm after features to look for.

Thx to all :)
