removing imobilizer

I have some crappy cobra imobilizer / alarm fitted and its hit and miss if I can ever start the car. Right now it wont start.

 

How do you disconnect it, bypass the whole thing.

    Find alarm ecu

    follow wiring loom

    cut off wires

    rejoin immobiliser cuts in cars harness, will be 2 (possibly 3) depending on fitter and age of alarm, rejoin colours like for like

    Thanks, I found the manual (not wiring diagram) and its a cobra GT136/142.

    18 years!! if you just manage to trace the immob wires and join them back up the alarm itself might still work
