I used to own a record shop, put club nights and the odd rave on outdoors in the summer. Cut a long story short someone on a forum that I used to use borrowed a Crown amp and a DPSS laser and four 500W speakers to do a wedding with from me. After repeated requests to get my stuff back and one excuse after another nothing ever materialised.

The **** moved and would never answer his phone, cut a long story short out of principal I paid for a trace on him. When I found out where he lived I got my lawyer to take it further. I took him to court and he failed to pay the Judgement and costs saying he could not afford it as he was on the dole. Seems he thought he had got away with my stuff and said he "lost it" LOL. Sold it i guess, anyhows great news i instructed a county baliff and they contacted me today to say they have all his stuff. His nice flatscreen, PS3, Laptop, and car have been taken to be sold at Auction to cover the debt, all the fees and interest.

So looks like the worm definately turned on this one today :tt2: another low life scumball knows that stealing someones stuff to sell can come back to bite you on the ass. Lets hope he thinks twice before he does it to someone else. Im sure his plentiful time he has without a TV, Computer, or PS3 will fun filled.

Fair play to you for pursuing it, these low lifes need to be taught a lesson. Really gets my goat when people think they have a right to rip someone off. It's stealing!! He got exactly what he deserved imo.

class, is it anyone we know lol, its good to see some payback, youve worked for it and was kind enough to lend it out and they took the piss, they deserved everything they got

No one here would know him, but it did put a smile on my face. Also got to keep an £850 house deposit today as well from the TDS after one of my properties got trashed. it covers some of the 3K damage and I instructed a trace on the old tennents today as well for more of the same.

Treat others as they treat you.....

Excellent! I really do believe that what goes around comes around - if you sh1t on people it will inevitably bite you on the ass in time

haha nice one! that'll serve him right but these sort of people cant stop doing stuff like this :(

:thumbup1: I'm sick to death of scum like this. I hope he cried when they took his stuff!

Nice one Martin....:thumbup1:

....I also believe it's important not to let the scum get away with things like that; as they will continue to take the piss for ever.

One has to make a stand for what is right; if only to stop things like this happening in future.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Yup!-now he'll be out nicking someone else's Flatscreen,PS3,etc.............

Nice one mate. Thats what you get for doing a good turn.

I had the same thing happen to me with 2 effects lighting rigs. I had to threaten with physical violence to get my gear back. I'll never loan my kit to anyone again.

:thumbup1: I'm sick to death of scum like this. I hope he cried when they took his stuff!

Agreed, and I hope all his neighbours saw what was going on as well, make him look a right idiot, which is what he is anyway.....
