That's what I want to be paying! Mine at the moment is over 500quid. If I could get it down to £350 i'd be happy.

Reading these insurance quotes is sickening to me lol! As a 21 year old i pay 2 grand with my parents on the policy after a month of searching for the cheapest deal...

it's trade insurance through the insurance factory, it's the way forward these days with all the quotes going sky high.

can anybody get trade insurance? or do you have to own a business i.e mechanics etc...

thats cos most 21 yr olds drive like lunatics, only this morning some young kid almost hit me............ 7.30 am dark raining on a 30mph road and he decideds to overtake a car and almost hit me head on

i turned 23 in november and cant even get insured on my dads 300zx lol even as 3rd driver!! quotes are about 3.5k+ so im sticking to my 1.6 civic for now, and paying out 1.3k for insurance :tongue_smilie:

baffles me why they do fully comp cheaper than tpft, it was £50 cheaper for me to go fully comp!

One answer is that a lot of people looking at TPFT are doing it either to cut costs; or because they do not care about damage to their own car. People who purchase FC insurance are more likely to care a bit more about their own car; hence will logically drive more carefully......

......I guess....!!

....A bit of a generalization - but that's exactly how insurers think!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Well im now 22 and had mine since i was 20. First year was about £1500, last year was £750(ish) but this year the very best i can get so far is about £850.

I was hoping that it would drop a little bit, but no, both my cars have hiked up! Can't understand why though 'cos i've got no claims still!

Hate insurance companies!

They just quoted me 1276quid!!!! 35 with 10 years ncb :helpsmilie:

They eMailed me with a revised quote of £570, then spoke to them today, we're now at £365 fully comp, agreed value etc, etc.

Now we're getting somewhere :cool3:
